Ghana Fundraiser Completed!

We are excited to announce the completion of yet another fundraiser! BHDM had a great need for a projector system and screen. On January 18, 2026, the projector system was successfully installed! The use of this projector will enable the church to view instructional visuals to learn God's Word in more detail. The Projector offers various benefits for, worship, teaching, and outreach efforts.

Technology costs are much higher in this region of the world due to low avalability. Various projectors, screens, and mounting hardware were compared to find a good fit for the church. Pastor Akai was able to negotiate their current set up with the mounting hardware and screen to just around $700 USD and the receipt can be viewed here.

The initial need of purchasing individual pew Bibles has been met with this projector system. Pastor Akai is able to display passages in both English and Fanti, "the local language," on the projector at the same time. There are complications within this region where many people are unable to receive proper education in literacy. Pastor Akai is able to use the system in a visual way that the congregation finds helpful and informative to their growth with God and understanding of the scriptures.
